ProjectsBloem (pronounced "bloom") are a Dutch cosmetics startup selling organic beauty products. They required a logo and visual identity that gave a feeling of elegance and freshness—precisely how they wanted their customers to feel when using their products.
I created a custom-made logotype that expressed sophistication and femininity using contrasting thicknesses of the letters and subtle curvature, while all in uppercase to ensure it stands out and has a sense of strength. I combined this with a soft and warming pastel pink colour palette which is soft on the eyes, just as the products are soft on the skin.
