ProjectsBuffalo Steakhouse are a rustic but sophisticated restaurant priding themselves on using top quality produce and cooking it with simplicity and care. This wasn't reflected in their original branding which looked cheap and uncared for.
My role was to create a brand new custom-made logotype that would stand out from the crowd and match the high-end nature of the food and ambiance.
I created a custom semi-bold slab-serif logotype that meddled the elegant but rustic nature of the restaurant. I subtly depicted chopping blocks and knife cuts using the slab serifs and angled ends of the letters.
